African Arguments looks forward to forthcoming Logos Open Culture book

Next month, Logos Open Culture will launch Madonna is our Mother’: Notes from Malawi by Muti Michael Phoya.

The latest book from Malawian publishing house is a collection of essays. Phoya explores Malawi’s shifting postcolonial character. Focusing mainly on the land and memory, the book paints a nuanced picture of a modern African country through its fascinating history.

This week the pan-African platform African Arguments mentioned Phoya’s new book among the books they are “most looking forward to reading in 2023”.
